My pre-raphaelite wanderings also lead me to your blog about Mells, a location which has long been on my to-do list because of my interest in EBJ and Frances Horner. Interestingly, I also discovered, thanks to Google, that Winston Churchill's mother, Lady Randolf, died shortly after visiting her friend Frances Horner at Mells circa 1940.
