I did my master's thesis on paintings and Tennyson and his reach is truly astonishing, and I keep finding more every time I look.

Thanks for commenting!Kirsty Stonell Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08342964877965021654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1441164155286448763.post-7197146774596495642014-12-15T13:45:00.555+00:002014-12-15T13:45:00.555+00:00Very interesting to see the Perugini. Break break ...Very interesting to see the Perugini. Break break break is my favourite poem but I hadn't realised that there were any paintings based on it. Thanks for a very interesting review. I have been to Leighton House once a couple of years ago. We saw Brian May in the High Street afterwards looking like he'd just been to a children's party! BTW I have only recently regained access to your blog so I've got a lot of catching up to do. You might get comments from me on some old posts...WoofWoofhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14142792485921452481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1441164155286448763.post-13961344457648425752014-12-14T16:41:55.825+00:002014-12-14T16:41:55.825+00:00It was splendid and I agree with David, I may try ...It was splendid and I agree with David, I may try and go again before March if only to sniff the rose room again. Sitting in the studio surrounded by pictures of my muse, my main character, whose ghost still wonders there. If one can sense wonder. The exhibition was as tantalizing as you described. But I was happy to find the studio untouched as for me it has become the holiest of the holy places to be. Dorothy was there and the lady on Alma-Tadema's magnificent piece in the next room around the corner of the winter gallery looked just like someone I know. It was as if I had just spoken to her.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
