I'm not sure whether as you approa...Dear Kirsty<br />I'm not sure whether as you approached the poor little tyke, proffering your money and smiling pleasantly, he wouldn't suddenly throw the basket at you, grab the money and the rest of your purse and head off down the nearest country lane - he has rather a shifty look to me! (I know, that's not a very Christmassy attitude, is it?) I can't help it, I am suspicious of him, despite the desperately sad back story you have given him. Kitty, on the other hand looks as if she is incognito, dressed as a flower girl, but really is a journalist, researching charitable works of the wealthy classes or possibly she is going to play Eliza in My Fair Lady and is a method actress.
