I think all the tea towels and china diluted the essence of a truly beautiful object.<br /><br />The Naughty Diary of an Edwardian Lady concerns the misdeeds of Ethel Hordle who lives at Rake's Bottom, Maiden-under-Mann. You get the idea...<br /><br />I implore everyone to search out a copy of Edith Holden's work and read it, surely every house in Britain must have a copy at least!
